Here’s The 2nd Jacket I Made Along w/ Some Shorts Project: FO

The Shorts Are Similar To Making Pants It’s Just Cut Out Above The Knee. But You Will Basically Need To Have Waistband, 2 Flys Right & Left For Buttons, 2 Pockets, 2 Pocket Facing

Now For The Jacket. It Took Me A While To Get Down But This Is My 2nd One. So Hopefully I Can Get A Full Understanding On My 3rd Piece.

Front Left & Front Right, 2 Back Legs, and A Back Pocket In Order To Make Your Pair.

You’re there. But you have to give up your creativity for the “brand”. A sacrifice. Do what your heart says. You never go wrong with the heart :) so much love to you and wishing you the best!

Fire patterning and fire fit! The jacket fits you well. Not IN LOVE with the shorts but these would be super dope cargo or painter pants imo.
keep up the good work

How did you make those patterns? Can you explain it to me like I’m 5? I’m new to sewing and fabrics but it looks like you used dye and bleach? Maybe a sponge?

u/Kachiro4 Jun 14 '22
The Fabric Came Like That.I Used A Seam Ripper To Break Down The Pants So I Can Get Each Part of It Individually. Got Some Pattern Paper & Pinned Down The Individual Pieces Onto It. Traced Around Each Part & Give It A 1/2 Inch Seam Allowance.

I Used A Levi Jacket As My Template On Making The Jacket. For The Shorts I Used A Old Pair Of Zara Fitted Jeans That Was To My Liking. I Took Apart The Zara Jeans and Copied Each Piece of The Garment. Along w/ the Jacket. I Made The Patterns Myself So It Looks Identical To Each Item (Jacket/Denim). For Pants You Need A Waistband, 2 Flys One For Buttons & Button Holes, Front Left Leg, Front Right Leg, 2 Back Legs, and Back pocket. The Jacket You Would Need A Back, Front, Sleeve, Collar, and Back Facing.
