Stickied Topic Halo Infinite Event | Joint Fire | Event Pass, Information and Discussion | January 17th - January 31st, 2023
The latest Halo Infinite in-game event is now live, this time around it's "Joint Fire".
What is Joint Fire?
Joint Fire is the name of the latest free event in Halo Infinite.
Throughout the duration on Joint Fire, players will have access to a new 10 Tier Event Pass, which can be progressed by completing specially marked Event Challenges. Similar to previous limited-time events, you will only need to complete 10 Event Challenges to finish the Event Pass.
When does Joint Fire begin, and how long does it run for?
- Starts: January 17th @ 10AM PT
- Ends: January 31st @ 10AM PT
Please make sure to knock out any Event Challenges before the last possible second. Previous events have ended slightly earlier than 10AM PT, resulting in players missing out on some unlocks.
Is there any new game modes releasing with Joint Fire? What am I playing?!
Joint Fire will be tied to the new Covert One Flag game mode first seen with the launch of the Winter Update. In a twist on One Flag CTF, the Attacking team will have unlimited Active Camo, the Pulse Carbine and the Sidekick while the Defending team will be equipped with unlimited Threat Sensors, the Commando and an Energy Sword.
What can I unlock from this event? Is it all free?
Yes, you can unlock stuff from this event. Similar to previous events, you can unlock items by completing specially marked Event Challenges in your Challenges list.

Feedback Double XP Boosts should be for a set number of games instead of for 60 minutes due to long wait times for games.
Double XP Boosts last for 60 minutes, but I’ve literally been sitting here for 5 minutes trying to get a game in Ranked Arena. I’m watching the Double XP Boost just tick away. Why not just make it so the Double XP Boosts last for 5 games?
Or better yet, why not pause the timer when you’re not actually in a game?

Leaving the flag to hunt down the other team is absolutely never a good strategy. It succeeds only in annoying your teammates, please stop.
Misc I'm... Not the only one who noticed this, am I? I first noticed this back during the Tenrai event but... COMICALLY LARGE ASSAULT RIFLE.
They require us to have a player tag of 1-4 digits in most Halo games, so I think it would be pretty cool if we could sport that tag on our armor for our emblem. Or even just have it in addition to our emblems normally like Spartans usually do. Maybe put it on the opposite side along the collar.
What do you think? And don't reply "343 has other things they should worry about" like you tend to always do. Like no crap. It's just fun to think about small additions.
