Discussion [Discussion] Why Stranger Things is a masterpiece ? And why to people like me this show means a lot ?
I’m not speaking for everyone but this show has everything good writing, loveable characters, comedy, perfect emotions, Steve Harrington, Eddie Munson, Dustin Henderson, that small action sequence was hella epic yk the unknown hero agent man.
Me tbh didn’t find this show ( it sounds clichè ik ) but the show found me in the toughest part of my life so far. When my grandma passed everyone in my family was sad my father along with his 3 brothers my grandfather my brothers were handling each other. But me I did nothing back then didn’t support my father in the ways he needed me to. Some days when he would be sad I would go to him to yk just to remind him that she is in a better place now, I never cried for her. In India things are a little different there is something called a Kharch in my culture that takes place after around 2 weeks of someone’s death and you are supposed to do good deeds. All I did was stay on my phone and keep playing Fortnite for some reason. I was 11 back then but as time passed my favourite music teacher left the school too he taught me so much and not to brag but I drained the shit out of those six strings, my teacher also lifted my mood by calling me some prodigy ( for some reason ). He got me into metal music at a young age. When he left it reminded me of my grandmother for some reason. Months later I felt awful and guilty that I didn’t help my father get through those tough times. That I wasn’t there for him, that I didn’t mourn for her. But whenever he would take that smartphone away from me I would cry like a fucking idiot. Months passed none of it got easier.
Until I found Stranger Things in 2019 ‘November . My brother and my best friend got me into it. The show felt like a family for some reason. I grew up with these characters cried with them, laughed with them. I learned a lot from this show all the characters felt like it was me broken into different parts. This show helped me fight those nightmares, gave me hope for some reason. Now I am 14 will be gettin into guitar once again. I almost never cry other than the times when I think about my grandmother she was strong, fought death for 5 long painful years. My father cursed god for the amount of pain he put her through and didn’t grant her a quick painless death. Even though he never wanted to curse that god he believed so much in. Now we are happy at least trying to be I’m hoping she is too in the place she went to.
Words just can’t describe how much I am thankful to the entire cast the crew of the show that they made something so beautiful. Something so relatable. You know something is magical when it helps you get back up from the living hell within yourself when it helps you fight the Inner demons inside of you.
That is what Stranger Things is to me it changed my life and is Nothing short of a MASTERPIECE.🥹

Discussion What's your favourite little detail from the show?
Mine is probably the blue hairband Hopper got from his daughter and gave to Eleven. But that's probably the most popular one so I'll throw another into the mix - In season 3 when Mike and Eleven are broken up their clothes share the same colour scheme to show they're still together even when apart.
