This guy has been McConnells right hand man for a long time. McConnell was his mentor. He will definitely sell out anyone. Y’all should look him up. He is a dirty fucker.

94

u/followfornow Aug 13 '22

I read that his and McConnell's plan is that he is his successor when turtle decides to call it quits.

26

u/Gladfire Aug 14 '22

It surprises me the turtle can actually contemplate giving up power.

15

u/followfornow Aug 14 '22

He's 80, realizes evil doesn't help his constitution

7

u/GamerX44 Aug 14 '22

Bruh being evil is so easy, it must be relaxing as all hell to the human body. Literally all it takes to be evil is to not give a shit about people and their worries. Except your donors ofc.

2

u/Hagatha_Crispy Aug 14 '22

For real. It would be easy as fuck to be evil. Having empathy can suck sometimes but it's an easy choice to not be evil for money/power.

1

u/Danielle082 Aug 15 '22

He wont. He will pretend to retire. That sorry excuse for a human will never truly give up power. This man, Cameron will do everything he tell him to do. He will still be pulling strings and using his influence, just from the outside.

2

u/Danielle082 Aug 15 '22

Yep. And no bullshit, probably 1 1/2-2 years ago there was a ton about Cameron on the internet. Its gone. It has been scrubbed. People please believe when i tell you that this pos has been groomed by McConnell for a very long time. This has been totally manufactured. I hope the people of Kentucky wake tf up.

I also say this at Boston Market

4

u/Tacdeho Aug 13 '22

Bro they just closed the Boston Market near me and I gotta say, I truly miss my old people buffets.

Where else can I a roast turkey dinner in upstate NY at 4:30 on a Tuesday?

2

u/RythmicSlap Aug 14 '22

Same here. I miss that spirally mac n' cheese and the meatloaf. Mmmm meatloaf

15

u/Brook420 Aug 13 '22

McConnel is on a whole different level of evil though.

11

u/Cool_Ranch_Dodrio Aug 13 '22

I'm pretty sure you can't defend the garbage politicians you worship, so you have to pretend that they're all the same.

Yep. Bernie Sanders does nothing but obstruct the government. Obama didn’t waste a supermajority trying to compromise with evil pieces of shit.

u/bitterboxbottom Aug 13 '22 edited Aug 13 '22

Haha Arizona! #7! Just like I've been saying...this state is very attached to the federal tittie yet act as though they're self sufficient. BS!

And my home state California is #41! Blahaha! Yet we get blamed for everything by the biggest welfare benefactors in the US. The irony is palpable!

76

u/CarmineFields Aug 13 '22

This is why I laugh when republicans talk about civil war/succession. I’m sure it would suck for everyone but it would suck for red states way more.

27

u/GlockAF Aug 13 '22

If you want to see how this plays out, look north of the border. Quebec province in Canada has been trying to separate themselves from the rest of the country for decades. They keep cutting their own budget trying to pretend that they can pull down enough money to pay for social services, but they can’t.

End result has been to screw over the needy, the sick, the homeless, everybody in Canada who relies on social services, and it’s all about virtue signaling

-14

u/Lololick Aug 14 '22

Québec bashing propaganda even when the country's not involved 😂

You forgot to mention those equalization payments were put way before Alberta's early 2000 economical boost. In 1957 the country was garbage except for Ontario and Québec that built, and still build, this country.

All of a sudden "whaaaaaa I used to need money now I make more so it's all mine whaaaaaa"

Numbers don't lie 😅

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Canadian_provinces_and_territories_by_gross_domestic_product

Québec makes more as a province than a handful of countries like New-Zealand, Portugal, Israël, Finland and we all know how those countries are soooooo poor 🙄

We give 60B and receive 13B even tough Legault said 11B is enough... who's stealing who 🤡

9

u/GlockAF Aug 14 '22

Nice try froggy boy, but I’m not buying your bullshit

-7

u/Lololick Aug 14 '22

Typical from a ROC trash 😂

Numbers don't give the slighest f&$ks about your bigot beliefs

That is why I have no problems letting the Confederate states secede, I have been wanting to pop that big beautiful California titty out their mouths for 2decades. They talk alot of shit for people who don't pull their own weight.

Let em secede watch their economies crumble and when they are at their most desperate steam roll em into the ocean.

1

u/pubertino122 Aug 13 '22

What a weird way to think about other people

11

u/ins0mniac_ Aug 14 '22

Fuck around and find out.

They’re fucking around thinking they’re self sufficient and that democratic blue cities are hell holes.

They are all welfare states that would crumble. Their best and brightest would flee, increasing an already dramatic brain drain. They already have the highest murder rates per capita, and highest crime rates in general per capita.

Let them form their Ya’ll Queda Christian Nation.

2

u/pubertino122 Aug 16 '22

So you’re 12?

1

u/ins0mniac_ Aug 16 '22

Believe it or not, I’m an adult whose taxes (and everyone else’s) go towards propping up literal failed red states.

Don't care they are a liability at this point. California alone has enough people to make up the difference, if the golden state has to take up more of the burden to make up for it, so be it we lead America always follows. Fire up the draft in California, no matter how you cut it America saves money.

We know the confederacy does not have enough money to pay for the land they stand on. So let the confederates secede and see if they have enough blood to pay for American soil.

Oh the land has value all right.

South seems like they want to leave I saying fine let em good don:t let the door hit ya on the way out.

Then when they can't pay for the land they standing on, evict them off the continent. If no one wants to take em, push em into the sea and finish what Sherman started. With one fell swoop of a pen "enemy combatant" the lot of em.

Bye felicia

They get to play out their civil war fantasies, we get to treat em like Rome did the vandals. Everyone in the USA who makes under 1mil gets 40 acres by lottery. Call it a big thank you and we are sorry to the minorities of America, poor whites get their leg up. If we got tribes that come from a particular region we can offer em a land swap. Us government takes over Indian reservation territory, they can stake out HOW THEY WANT (no national security resources tho) the same acres on provable traditional territory with first buy rights on any adjacent parcel to native territory (natives get priority otb land going up for sale that touches theirs} for the next 50yrs. (To incentivise corporate investment in native national territories and to help super charge the economies of our most favored trade partners, brother's in arms, sister nations the native territorial nations or what ever the fuck ur particular tribe calls itself.). African Americans get in addition the mule that was promised or cash market value.

It is a win win in my books everybody gets what they want

-1

u/fabulin Aug 14 '22

are you high??

8

u/fuzzyshorts Aug 13 '22

Americans lie to themselves so easily.... it should be a national embarrassment. But I guess without lies, without self enforced amnesia to their nation's horrors, they might actually have to do something.

-15

u/Glockspeiser Aug 13 '22

Yeah California is in great shape these days.

13

u/AdDifficult7229 Aug 14 '22

-5

And every family can get a homeless person for a pet!!!! Since y’all hold the record for the largest homeless population. Take your head outta your ass bro, I know you can’t see where you steering that high horse.

12

u/bitterboxbottom Aug 14 '22

Well, most homeless people in California are from elsewhere. Other states have been well known to purchase one way bus tickets to California for their homeless people. California takes in their homeless while those states take in California millionaires. Seems like a beneficial trade off for those states and not so much for California yet again everything is our fault always. Global pandemic, Russia invading Ukraine, worldwide inflation...it's all Californians' fault.

6

u/AdDifficult7229 Aug 14 '22

You really need to get out more.

5

u/WildYams Aug 14 '22

y’all hold the record for the largest homeless population.

California has the largest population, period. By a significant margin. It's inevitable that they're going to have the most of everything. They also have one of the best climates for people who live without shelter, as it rarely gets too hot or too cold. If you think there's homeless people in California because Republicans aren't running it, then explain why just the general population in deeply red states is in such poor shape. You've just been watching too much Fox News, who's show you the few, small areas where homeless congregate, and you end up thinking that's what everywhere looks like, when in reality it's a very small percentage.

1

u/fchowd0311 19d ago

It's funny. Rural populations also have issues with homelessness especially with the opioid epidemic hitting rural regions the hardest. The difference is that a homeless person in a rural area will travel to a city because the city has more infrastructure to sustain them such as public parks, soup kitchens etc.

So the homeless problem in conservative rural areas is eventually a big city liberal issue.

I would suggest going to one of those homeless encampments in San Fran and just do a hasty poll and see how many of those homeless people are actually native San Francisco residents.

1

u/Bryce1969 Aug 14 '22

Oh ya, 48 baby! Suck it California!

34

u/sirkowski Aug 13 '22

Montana, where people go to avoid the government, 5th most dependent on the the government.

2

u/Superb_Breadfruit_ Aug 13 '22

Probably because all the government subsidies ranchers get. People don’t want to pay $30 for a burger.

6

u/JustifytheMean Aug 13 '22

Damn, Hawaii, 50th on the list for government dependency I'm assuming due to tourism, but 8th for individual dependency, so despite the thriving tourism, the locals get fucked. I assume what doesn't go to taxes gets pumped right out to mainland US. That's just sad.

9

u/CheckYourUnderwear Aug 13 '22

I just came from Revelstoke, BC -- a town in the Canadian rockies of 10 000.

Modular trailers selling for 400,000 CAD, and normal middle class homes over a million.

Every restaurant and service we went to had help wanted signs, or areas of the restaurant patio blocked off due to lack of servers.

I wonder why . . .

Enjoyed my time there but wow is it becoming ever apparent we live in a time of exponential widening class divide and going balls deep into neo feudalism

5

u/[deleted] Aug 13 '22

It’s like that across Canada. It’s actually pretty bad.

7

u/moereese19 Aug 13 '22

Bro, was about to say the same🤣. Delaware needs a round of applause!

4

u/kindlystranger Aug 14 '22

Delaware's independence is paid by state finance laws that permit loose banking regs. US credit cards are almost all based in Delaware and often charge usurious interest rates and high fees with minimal regulation. Banks are overall one of the biggest employers in Delaware and if those billions left, there isn't much left to hold the state in the top spot.

Not a diss to DE, just an acknowledgement that there's a misery tax here and people in other states are paying it.

2

14

8

u/CarmineFields Aug 13 '22

I’m liking Kansas more and more after their abortion vote. Suck it, anti-women pieces of shit.

22

u/bluegargoyle Aug 13 '22

They got rid of Sam Brownback and elected Laura Kelly, a Democrat.

"Fun" fact: Brownback campaigned on a promise to make the state an economic model for Republican policies, featuring massive tax cuts that he claimed would pay for themselves with overwhelming job growth that would set the standard for the entire nation. It came to be known as The Kansas Experiment, and it was a colossal failure. Kansas missed payments on their outstanding debts and had their credit downgraded 3 times, and had to make painful cuts to education and Medicaid.

15

u/AmadeusK482 Aug 13 '22

The Kansas Experiment, and it was a colossal failure... (the state) had to make painful cuts to education and Medicaid.

That's what conservatives would call a success. Cutting poor people off from government services is how they govern.

3

u/midascanttouchthis Aug 13 '22

is that one place in Kansas still paying people like $15k(?) to move there? thought that program was funny

1

u/-----CrimsoN----- Aug 13 '22

Sounds like Reaganomics with extra steps, even though Reaganomics is already considered a failure. Why the need to try it again?

98

Just sucks when your state does you proud in spirit but votes the exact opposite way every single time it actually matters.

96

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

As a lifelong Kentuckian, I absolutely understand. My special needs daughter was featured on one of Governor Beshear’s daily COVID updates in 2020. Both I and her school got death threats.

53

That's absolutely disgusting. People are scum

63

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22 edited Aug 13 '22

That’s true, but Governor Beshear STILL keeps in contact with me, and checks on her even though we’ve moved out of the state. He told me that no matter where we go, our family will always represent what’s best about Kentucky.

I would follow that man into hell.

17

13

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

No. There wasn’t much they could do other than visit the person if they were in KY and tell them to knock it off.

8

u/TX7441107 Aug 13 '22

Blame gerrymandering. It doesn't matter how many people you get to turn out and vote. If their district is gerrymandered to shit, doesn't matter.

8

u/davidreiss666 Aug 13 '22 edited Aug 13 '22

This guy is AG of the entire state of Kentucky. Gerrymandering doesn't affect state wide elections because, by definition, a statewide election can't be Gerrymandered. Gerrymandering can only effect elections where the districts are defined in some way where they are smaller areas not otherwise defined by law.

So, a Congressional seat from any state with more then one member of the House of Reps could be Gerrymandered. But any State wide seat from a state wide election can not effected by Gerrymandering.

6

u/acolyte357 Aug 13 '22

You can't blame gerrymandering when it's a state wide election, bud.

We just have a fuck load of shit heads here.

2

u/LadyPhantomflowers Aug 14 '22

Gerrymandering is a real problem.

6

u/grrrrreat Aug 13 '22

2020 they had a chance to be redeemed

7

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

I did my part. I am a STAUNCH Booker supporter. I would follow that man, anywhere.

11

u/HeadLongjumping Aug 14 '22

This wasn't a rally for his campaign. This was the Fancy Farm picnic in Fancy Farm, KY. It's an event that has been an annual tradition since 1881. The main event is the political speaking, during which politicians from both sides of the aisle speak in front of a large, rowdy crowd of attendees. It's common and expected for the crowd to act this way at this event.

50

This is the dude who held a grand jury for Breonna Taylor's killer's killers. He didn't allow them to indict them for murder, then claimed that they decided not to indict for murder.

He robbed the people of Kentucky a chance at justice.

He let potential murderers get away without a trial.

Then he lied about it to the people of Kentucky.

He has disqualified himself. The people owe him nothing, not a chance to speak, not any etiquette, not time for him to spread more lies.

5

u/Kveldson Aug 14 '22

Nobody is interested in "cross bench dialogue" (weird way to say bipartisan conversation) but you know that.

Why on earth isn’t anybody talking about the 2020 election results in Kentucky? Something like 2000% of Republicans votes in some counties? Polling showed vastly different results until Election Day? It’s always occurred to me that the reason the GOP is so sure the Democrats cheated is because their own cheating only kinda worked.

-3

u/Homie_JLee Aug 14 '22

She wasn’t sleeping. She had slept over there. Also her boyfriend shot first. Not a good thing that she died but she affiliated herself with the wrong person.

1

u/Fantastic_Breakfast6 Aug 14 '22

They were at the wrong house, none of the occupants had anything to do with what they were looking for, so I’m not sure why you would imply something negative about her boyfriend’s character, unless you’re a white supremacist, as could be inferred by certain endorsed posts on your page. He claimed he was defending his home from intruders, which they seemed to be. The police lied about her wounds in their reports, probably to mock the situation. No one was held accountable for any of that.

0

u/Homie_JLee Aug 14 '22

Her boyfriend was was a drug dealer who breonna decided to affiliate herself with. The first shot fired by him through a door. So yeah definitely don’t see how that makes me a white supremacist for stating facts. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

What a trash person. I'll never understand why one minority decides to target another. Doesn't he know what discrimination is like?

u/OwnWait5 Aug 13 '22

What money and power will do to a person.

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

Wait a minute. What’s the rationale for giving free lunches to lgbtq kids?

30

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

They are trying to exempt LGBTQ kids from the free and reduced lunch program. Sorry if I wasn’t clear. I may be on my 3rd or 5th glass of wine.

9

u/angrypuppy35 Aug 13 '22

That’s so strange. How do they propose to determine which kids are lgbtq?

12

u/PatMenotaur Aug 13 '22

I suppose they’ll just have to persecute the out kids.

10

u/UncannyTarotSpread Aug 13 '22

They’ll almost certainly torment and bully any kid who doesn’t fit their idea of the proper gender role.

He was supposed to prosecute the police for misconduct but was actually on their side and made it so they got off.

The was the AG responsible for getting an indictment on the officers who murdered Breonna Taylor and who shot her boyfriend. An indictment is basically when the prosecutor, the dude above, presents a case to a grand jury to bring charges against someone, there is no defense of their actions presented (because that comes after, during a trial) just a presentation on what laws were violated. I'm this case the cops broke the law several times including filing false police reports, not identifying themselves, etc. It's a joke that prosecutors can get an indictment on anyone cuz it's so easy. However, he did not do that, he like other prosecutors who don't want to charge police go for a charge that they can't prove without a doubt, thus throwing their case away by not getting any indictments. This week the DOJ announced indictments on the police officers, those are federal charges. The feds have been doing the jobs of state AGs in these high profile cases by actually charging people with things that fall under their jurisdiction, since they can't bring murder charges since that's the state's purview

Oof, he should concede right now.

Isn't this one of like 14ish other states that wants to leave the USA? And also, don't most of these states rely on other states like CA and NY to help them with their welfare and other programs?

Why does Kentucky keep Mr Turtle McConnell and “I don’t want to be your neighbor” Rand Paul? These two never vote for anything GOOD for people. They HATE and want to get rid of SocSec & Medicare, Medicaid, helping Families. I don’t understand. Stop voting for these backwards old white dinosaur republicans who WANT to keep you poor.

Did you fail your middle school Civics course?

10

u/jackyj888 Aug 13 '22

This AG was in charge of the investigation and responsible for refusing to charge the officers, forcing the DOJ to step in and levy charges of their own.

15

u/randolphmd Aug 13 '22

AG represents the whole state and people are unhappy with his role in how all this went down.

-8

u/sumZy Aug 14 '22
