Meanwhile in Wyoming... "Corrupt FBI!" , "Jan 6th Was A Setup!" , "Mark Zuckerberg Placed Ballot Boxes!" , "ALL THE MAJOR INTERNETS!". Republicans totally have ideas and policies to make your life better... Political Freakout

Republicans have turned into full blown troglodytes.

70

u/UnleashThePwnies Jul 01 '22

They have always been, they just failed to evolve.

22

u/brpajense Jul 01 '22

It's Wyoming.

The only people who want to face Cheney in the primary are conspiracy-loving Trump supporters. On top of that, there are fewer than 600k people who live in Wyoming.

In essence, they're scraping the bottom of a tiny barrel.

12

u/Rehnion Jul 01 '22

These empty skulled gasbags have votes that are worth more than any other state's voters thanks to the electoral college.

3

u/brpajense Jul 01 '22

Yup, time for us to make use of the elastic clause, give in to white Christian nationalism, or collapse.

17

u/upper-cloud-9 Jul 01 '22

Just like their supporters

4

u/Rehnion Jul 01 '22

I can't imagine how they can so consistently be horrible, terrible people. It's like every time they have a choice they choose to be crazy and mean.

83

u/Zealousideal-Ad3814 Jul 01 '22

“Own due diligence” aka I watched fox and did no research and choose to be ignorant to the issue.

16

u/Optimus_Prime_Day Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

She talks about corruption, then goes on talking about why they shouldn't deal with Jan 6th because it's too old now. Meanwhile nothing ever came of those events because Rs blocked them as best they could.

Hillary: deletes a few emails

Republicans: “LOCK HER UP!! CROOKED HILLARY!”

Republicans: violently attempt to overthrow the elected government on live television

Republicans: “Gosh, this old news again? Can’t we all move on to more important things, like the definition of the word ‘woman?’”

5

u/mursilissilisrum Jul 01 '22

A woman is technically any adult superspreader for cooties.

3

u/Delta5o1 Jul 02 '22

Their idea of a woman is fax machine that pumps out white babies.

316

u/ExcitementOrdinary95 Jul 01 '22

Scary fucking world when Liz Cheney is the only politician who sounds sane in a debate

83

u/matlockpowerslacks Jul 01 '22

I had nearly this exact thought the other night, it sounds even crazier phrased as "the daughter of Dick Cheney".

29

u/barrinmw Jul 01 '22

This is the same woman who threw her own sister under the bus to get elected, and she is honestly some of the best the Republicans have to offer. This means the Republicans are just evil as a whole.

4

u/mursilissilisrum Jul 01 '22

God. Remember when they were just dicks?

5

u/barrinmw Jul 01 '22

I wish we could just have arguments about how big the budget should be and where we should be spending the money and come to compromises that way. Instead, it is just culture war after culture war with these assholes.

We should probably bring back pork to Washington. There is a theory that all this has been caused by DC getting rid of pork.

1

u/micats Jul 01 '22

Now they’re just assholes with no balls or spines.

2

u/mursilissilisrum Jul 01 '22

You're just saying that because Ted Cruz was clipped off from a GOP donor's rectum.

6

u/McPeePants34 Jul 01 '22

and she’s losing

13

u/By_Design_ Jul 01 '22

I'm curious to know if she is going to run in 2024

34

u/alannwatts Jul 01 '22

unless her numbers go up dramatically, she won't even win her own congressional seat, who's gonna vote for her in a primary let alone the general... she probably has plans for a private-sector job already, maybe as a lobbyist for Halliburton

7

u/By_Design_ Jul 01 '22

I totally hear you. It just kind of depends on what it's worth to her. Even ejecting herself into the primary would give her some chance at voicing her decent to the party for as long as she is in the race. Even with small numbers, she has a chance at causing major disruption as an independent in the general. I know it's a pipe dream, but she has a shot at falling on the sword to prevent her party from gaining control of the executive branch 2024

3

u/messagepad2100 Jul 01 '22

IIRC, anyone can register as a Republican to vote in the primary.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/06/23/us/politics/liz-cheney-wyoming-democrats.html

Liz has been mailing people to switch to Republican for the primary.

1

u/By_Design_ Jul 01 '22

1

u/Existing365Chocolate Jul 01 '22

If you lose your midterm you’re likely not going to get any traction in a National election

Are Republican elections now just “he with the lowest IQ wins?”

54

u/IllustriousStorm5730 Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

Most of them are shes!

Basically the one with the best conspiracy theory wins as Wyoming won’t be voting for a Democrat, so they’re free to be as crazy as they’d like to be.

Just like the “white lives are protected with Roe being overturned” lady Rep in Illinois who’s safely in a 70% Republican district.

9

u/barrinmw Jul 01 '22

Here is my conspiracy theory we need to get started.

The reason that so many Republicans are willing to come out and speak the truth about Donald Trump is that Ron deSantis has spoken to them and offered them all jobs in his administration to do so.

8

u/SnooShortcuts8481 Jul 01 '22

I think it is the most evil wins.

Middle-aged republicans gotta have 90 IQ or less holy

42

u/AndyHunter12 Jul 01 '22

How have Republicans become this CRAZY?

34

u/cjmar41 Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

The lunacy started with the Tea Party and Birther movement in 2008.

I remember some crazy old woman saying into a microphone “I don’t trust Obama he’s a Muslim…” and John McCain taking the mic away and correcting her, saying that Obama was a good man that they simply had fundamental differences.

The was the beginning of the end. It went downhill very quickly in the following months.

6

u/XxRocky88xX Jul 01 '22

So crazy to think just 10 years ago a republican would say “now wait a minute that’s obviously a lie!” And now it’d be “yes you’re right and he actually suicide bombed the White House while he was in office!”

2

u/faste30 Jul 01 '22

And the maintstream ones just realized they can mobilize those idiots for power. the turtle doesnt believe any of this sh*t, he just wants to stay in control.

1

u/AndyHunter12 Jul 01 '22

This is a good point. A lot of them are probably just playing the part. Which is scary.

1

u/communist1871 Jul 01 '22

Back when John "Bomb Iran" McCain was the "voice of reason." Right-wingers have utterly lost their minds.

1

u/AndyHunter12 Jul 01 '22

I understand the timeline but i just dont get the mental part. Were they always this nuts?

8

u/friggindiggin Jul 01 '22

One of my earliest political memories is the Republican representative who held up a snowball during his chamber speech mocking the idea of climate change. They embraced insanity as a party platform long ago.

3

u/barrinmw Jul 01 '22

The current government setup heavily favors conservatives. This means that conservatives don't need to really appeal to moderates or liberals to win. So conservatives have to chase each other to be more extreme and qualify the other candidates as less conservative than themselves. It is also why democrats have to chase republicans to the right and how we don't have a truly leftist party.

1

u/P0rtal2 Jul 01 '22

The Republican party embraced the nutjobs and the conspiracy theorists.

73

u/IllustriousStorm5730 Jul 01 '22 edited Jul 01 '22

I especially love the “We should be going after the lawlessness first… wait not like that!”

Not So Fun Fact. That last guy… got a 14 year old pregnant in Florida when he was 18, they got married and then divorced with the girl committing suicide a few years after giving birth.

He claimed the suicide had nothing to do with him… and blamed it on her family issues. Their son is currently in a California State prison for raping a 51 year old woman.

https://trib.com/news/state-and-regional/govt-and-politics/us-house-candidate-bouchard-says-he-impregnated-14-year-old-when-he-was-18/article_c3996062-e6ad-5027-96a9-1bcd0f832eda.html

I didn’t want to make the video incredibly long, but the last candidate that I cut off basically claimed that “The election in Iraq was better run than 2020”.

These people are insane.

23

u/slizzler Jul 01 '22

They’re not insane. They’re low IQ grifters that see their only way of surviving in this world as putting on the maga mask, hitting all the bases keywords, and riling up an uneducated, angry mass of people to vote, donate, and got knows what else (but especially donate)

10

u/IllustriousStorm5730 Jul 01 '22

Very true…. Plus $174,000/year with the mindset that you won’t have to do anything is quite the paycheck for screeching stupidity.

3

u/MightyKrakyn Jul 01 '22

The way that one lady defaulted to repeating “we the people” over and over…all the republicans want are buzz words spouted back at them

20

u/yippy_skippy99 Jul 01 '22

Cheney must be thinking these are my opponents - thank you god... She is the only person in the room with a brain, Unfortunately the electorate in Wyoming isn't any brighter.

6

u/McPeePants34 Jul 01 '22

Cheney better be thinking “oh fuck, oh god, oh fuck” cause she’s losing pretty badly in this race.

7

u/faste30 Jul 01 '22

Yep, one of these nutters WILL be in congress next year. She is getting primaried and there is no way they arent voting for a pub, no matter who it is. Most voters dont even know who is on the ballot for those races, just look for the R next to their name.

15

u/AlienDarwin Jul 01 '22

She doesn't want to waste money or time on this committee, congress gets paid a shit tonne and this at least is kind of doing something,ok great but Trump fleeced his flock 250 million!!to "fight the fraud" knowing full well they weren't fighting diddly .Oh yeah The Kraken, that feeble pretend fight by the goofy team of lawyers . They just are deluded and forget everything that happened .

13

4

u/boblobong Jul 01 '22

Which in and of itself is pretty crazy

7

u/cgmcnama Jul 01 '22

So I guess this is mostly an attack on the incumbent Liz Cheney who is on the Jan 6th Commission. But it's crazy when one of of the most hardline Republicans is the reasonable person here.

This is why you need nationwide basic education america.

17

Infrastructure of america was voted down by republicans in congress. These morons have no idea how to govern

1

I'm guessing for Republicans the most controversial part of this video is Liz Cheney saying representatives shouldn't lie to their constituents.

3

u/poopdeckocupado Jul 01 '22

Aside from Cheney these people sound and speak like they're on the left side of the bell curve. What an embarrassment.

McCain really fucked America when he chose Palin.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE THESE IDIOTS TALKING ABOUT?

How, please tell me how these morons are elected? That they will sell their soul to stay in power is unfathomable. How can one man and his acolytes of which I strongly include Fox News so effectively brainwash what I would think were once intelligent people. The only explanation I can come to is, that these weak minded people are buying into this propaganda because of their personal self interest. They are caught up in a brainwashing situation very similar to what happened in Nazi Germany. You only have to look at the effects of a California school experiment “The Third Wave” in 1967 to fully understand. Thankfully there are a few Republicans who still have moral fortitude.

1

u/Spork_King_Of_Spoons Jul 01 '22

Because it has been proven that the machinegun mud slinging tactic works. These "politicians" make a ridiculous claims that takes people weeks to disprove, and by the time they refute it the same "politician" has made 15 more equally ridiculous claims.

This method draws people in under the guise of "asking the hard questions" and gives people a dopamine rush because they "know the truth". It is the same exact reason people believe in flat earth and the deep state and other outlandish conspiracy theories.

1

u/desrayt Jul 01 '22

Agree with you totally. Never try and explain or argue with a conspiracy believer. Disprove their theory with fact and they rundown the next rabbit hole.

WTF is in the water that is making Republicans so mentally deficient. Have red states been allowing leaded paint and leaded gasoline this whole time?

If your state operates at a deficit, it should no longer be allowed to vote in federal elections. It’s been a nice free ride, but it’s over now.

0

u/barrinmw Jul 01 '22

States can't operate at a deficit. It is literally against the Constitution and none of them do.

3

u/SvenislavPSN Jul 01 '22

There are like 10 states that actually make money...

1

u/SvenislavPSN Jul 01 '22

I don't agree with a lot of Liz's politics but, this woman has gained my respect for standing up to the sycophants and real traitors to the Constitution. Now though we have a Supreme court that will base their opinions on their beliefs and not the Constitution. Three of them lied in their confirmation hearings and that's okay as long as they give the GOP what they want.

It’s reasonable to think these guys get crazier and more violent over time (like several elections). Do you think this leads to civil war eventually given that there”s nothing that would unite the country or do we just have pockets of extremism and violence maybe like the Middle East? (I’m not that familiar with Middle East geopolitics, but just thinking about various reports I see on the news) Edit: I guess Christian fundamentalism is the same as any other religion, will get as violent as allowed, escalating to war if possible/necessary for a theocracy, but maybe won’t have numbers or the need for as much violence if government can help keep people in check. I think they’ve established what they need with Miranda rights ruling and being able to take people near borders.

1

u/IllustriousStorm5730 Jul 01 '22

Though to be fair, there’s only about 40,000 more people in Vermont.

But yeah in the 50-50 Senate, Democrats represent 62.5% of the US population.

Meanwhile Republicans are able to block any legislation with as little as 25% of the US population

1

u/trants Jul 01 '22

vermont is also 10 times smaller than wyoming land mass wise.

1

u/daveescaped Jul 01 '22

In Texas their platform is literally banning sex Ed in schools, refusing to respect trans people and being certain that homosexuality is bad. Sure, they kept the more reasonable stuff like tort reform and reducing unnecessary regulation. But they have built a brand on choosing the wrong side of history on social issues. I thought I was a Republican until Trump and moving to Texas. In Texas we light as well be Nancy Pelosi because I do not give a flying fig if dudes are in to dudes.

1

Those pigs will go to their grave Lying for Donald Trump just so they can get elected and take money from everybody these people are pathetic only person on that stage Liz Cheney has any kind of honor the rest or just bad people

1

u/PuzzledEggplant1446 Jul 01 '22

If Liz does goes an independent She could help take a bunch of votes away from the Republicans and maybe the Democrat will win that would be great she should just go to another state where she can get elected there

1

u/captain554 Jul 01 '22

These idiots are drinking the GOP propaganda Kool-aid too deep. They can't even form a coherent or original thought, they're literally just regurgitating what they've read or heard verbatim. These people and their thoughts will be the downfall of the United States.

Anyone considering voting for these fools should watch Idiocracy to see what they have in store for you.

u/Millerman19789 Jul 01 '22

And sadly one of these idiots ( not Cheney) will win. People are brainwashed

u/Inner-Housing1927 Jul 01 '22

Shame COVID didn’t ravage politicians. Pretty much out of patience at this point.

If your party wants to deliberately ruin lives on a national scale…just go die

Thanks for the reply!

1

u/nautikul Jul 01 '22

“They’re focusing on something that happened 18 months ago!” & “...but what about her e-mails and his laptop?!?!”

1

u/13igTyme Jul 01 '22

1:30 "...was a set up from the beginning for the election situation."

Right, because the events of January 6th, 2021 help Biden win the election on November 3rd, 2020.

1

u/ContemplatingPrison Jul 01 '22

I watched hours of video so I know everything.

These people are morons

1

u/devdeathray Jul 01 '22

Republicans are fucking traitors.

1

u/mjf617 Jul 01 '22

Their bat-shit, delusional insanity is only surpassed by their raw f'n stupidity.

1

u/StDeath Jul 01 '22

"January 6 happened a while ago, so we just need to forget about it and move on."

1

u/gellenburg Jul 01 '22

Cheney will lose unfortunately because the Republican Party is the Cult of Trump. Her only hope is that enough Democrats cross-over and save her.

1

u/The_Original_Gronkie Jul 01 '22

And the one candidate with integrity will probably lose.

Three of those “candidates” are bumbling idiots. Their names are not Liz. Sadly, Liz is gonna lose… and the people of Wyoming would have picked the worse “candidate”.

1

u/arch_nyc Jul 01 '22

Imagine being a part of a party that requires that you be a complete idiot in order to run.

I can’t for the life of me understand why Republican voters encourage this kind of race to the bottom behavior in their candidates

1

u/Realistic-Service-92 Jul 01 '22
